Yes. Our pieces are made from 100% pure, food-safe metal with no synthetic coatings or chemicals. One note — pure copper and brass should be avoided with highly acidic foods like tomatoes or tamarind without a lining. All Tamryn cooking pieces that need a lining come lined. Yes — and that's entirely intentional. Copper and brass develop a natural patina as they age and are used. This is not damage. It is the metal becoming yours. No two Tamryn pieces age the same way. If you ever want the original shine back, a quick rub with lemon and salt restores it in minutes.

Hand wash with mild soap and warm water. Dry immediately with a soft cloth. Every few weeks, rub with coconut oil or lemon and salt to maintain the lustre. Do not put it in the dishwasher — the detergents are too harsh for these metals. Five minutes of care every few weeks. It will reward you for decades.

Every Tamryn piece is warranted for the entirety of your life. Not a year. Not five. Yours. If something isn't right, we fix it or replace it — no forms, no questions, no fine print. And when the interior lining eventually wears with use, we replate it and return it like new.

As the interior lining of cooking pieces wears over years of use, we restore it — complimentary, always. Send it back to us, we replate it to its original condition and return it to you.
